XML Access: The different search functionalities
We offer a data consultation service based on an annual subscription basis. Infobel Pro is a service that allows unrestricted access to a wide range of directory services.

Services
Normalising :
designates and means a functionality of the Information Service enabling the Beneficiary or its Customers to carry out searches on the basis of the Directory Data from information approximating a name, an address, or a telephone number.
Standard Inquiry :
simple search based on accurate name, address, or telephone number, professional classification. Whether this request will generate a result or not, depends on the accuracy of the input data.

Extended Inquiry :
Query allowing some tolerance in the quality of the input data and offering the possibility to combine several search criteria: on the top of the basic criteria, possibility to search on geographical coordinates (X,Y), or on the nearest telephone number (B2B direct lines) or some combination of these criteria. This request will generally generate a result, by normalising and possibly correcting the imputed address, even if the later is erroneous.

This query allows some tolerance in the quality of the input data and offering the possibility to combine several search criteria:

Reverse Search :
search on telephone number in order to find all related ID coordinates of either residential or business. This search is submitted to each country law.
Ex: 02/379.29.40 => Kapitol s.a. - Chaussée de Saint Job/ Sint-Jobsesteenweg 506 – 1180 Uccle/Ukkel
You type a telephone nr or a fax nr… Instantly, this search will enable you to receive all related coordinates of either a residential or sole proprietary ship or company. This query is not allowed in all countries. Residential / Buisness
Scoring :
verification and evaluation of the level of data correlation between the input data and the Infobel’s Reference data. The global score gives you an indication on the reliability of the input data.
Geo localisation :
Query allowing to find the Lambert geographical coordinates (X,Y).
Local Search :
Search having as starting point a geographical data and allowing to find an entity or group of entities (technology used in Local Based Services).
Ex: All restaurants in a geo-centric distance of 1km around Kapitol
